Man on wrestling team bus dies in crash
BUCYRUS, Ohio -- A man was killed and four others were injured when a bus carrying a college wrestling team collided with a snowplow in Ohio Tuesday night.
The State Highway Patrol said the University of Mount Union bus was in the far right lane and passing a plow in the left lane late on U.S. 30 in Crawford County, in north-central Ohio. Several inches of snow had fallen.
Daniel Gorman, 52, was pronounced dead at a hospital. The university identified him as director of athletic training and associate professor of human performance and sports business.
The highway patrol said four people were treated for minor injuries, including a 19-year-old team member, the team's coach and an assistant coach.
The driver of the state snowplow was not hurt.
The bus was returning to the school in Alliance after a meet at Ohio Northern University in Ada.
The accident is under investigation.
