On the cusp of the Super 60

Here is a look at five players who fell just short of making the ESPNU Super 60. However, it is important to point out that any of these prospects could vault themselves into the rankings.

Zach Peters (Plano, Texas/Prestonwood Christian Academy)
PF, 6-foot-9, 240 pounds | College: Kansas

Obij Aget
(Beckley, W.Va./Mountain State)
C, 7-0, 220 pounds
College: Undecided
He is a super-long center with excellent athletic ability. Aget runs the floor and catches lobs in traffic. His tremendous length and mobility also allow him to be a terrific shot blocker and offensive rebounder. He is raw offensively but at 7-0 his upside is scary.

Gavin Ware (Starkville, Miss./Starkville)
PF, 6-8, 245 pounds | College: Undecided
He gets better each time we see him. Ware has gone from a developing post player who dropped major weight (50 pounds) into a confident, dominating presence who has the ability to take over a game. As he continues to improve his skill level and his conditioning, his ceiling will continue to rise. A definite ESPNU 100 player who will have a chance to earn his way into the Super 60.

Winston Shepard (Fresno, Texas/Findlay Prep)
SF/PF, 6-7, 200 pounds | College: Undecided
He is long, tall and skilled. Shepard is still more of a very skilled power forward, but he could eventually move out to the perimeter and become a 3. He is athletic and has solid ball skills. Shepard is still more of a prospect than a player, but his combination of skill, size and athletic ability makes him very intriguing.

Dominique Wilson (Kansas City, Kan./Washington)
C, 6-9, 220 pounds | College: Undecided
He is a developing big man with matching offensive skills. Wilson needs to improve his consistency and learn how to sustain his effort on the floor, but he has some talent. He is an effective scorer in the paint and is a solid rebounder at both ends of the floor.
