Craig excited about official to Clemson
Future Clemson receiver Joe Craig will be on campus Friday for his official visit. Joe looks forward to showing his dad why he fell in love with the Tigers.
"I am excited about the visit. I have already been around campus a lot. I am looking forward to showing my daddy. He has only been there for the FSU game. My dad, my sister and my cousin are coming with me," said Craig.
What does the Palmetto standout hope to do on his visit?
"I get to chill with some of the players. I want to make a quick bond with my teammates," replied Craig.
The speedster is glad that his recruiter will also be his position coach at Clemson. Joe and coach Jeff Scott already have built a strong relationship.
"Coach Scott came by my school a few weeks back. We talk a lot on the phone. We talk about signing day and what things will be like when I get to Clemson. I look forward to him being my coach. I am looking forward to being a Tiger," said Craig.
The Gaffney standout has been recruiting one of the Tiger's top targets and he plans to do more this weekend.
"I am going to see if I can do some recruiting this weekend. I have been talking to Justin Parker on Facebook and we have been texting a lot," said Craig.
After winning the 200m state title and losing the 100m in a photo finish the track standout hopes to lead Gaffney to a team title this year.
"Things are going good. I have been practicing for track lately. I really want to help my team win. Our school hasn't won the state in a while. I hope we can win this year," said Craig.
