QB Morelli switches to Nittany Lions

One of the nation's top quarterbacks, Anthony Morelli of Pittsburgh-Penn Hills, Pa., has decommitted from Pittsburgh for Penn State.

Miami-Florida has Top 150 linebacker Willie Williams of Miami-Carol City, Fla., over Florida and Florida State.

The USC Trojans have gained Top 150 receiver Dwayne Jarrett of New Brunswick, NJ., over Ohio State and Virginia. Among others were Iowa and Pittsburgh.

Top 150 defensive lineman Franklin Okam of Richardson-Lake Highlands, Tex., has picked the Texas Longhorns over Oklahoma State. Others were Florida, Oklahoma and Stanford.

Top 150 defensive lineman Marque Hall of Marshfield-Forest Hills, NC., is set for South Carolina over North Carolina State, Tennessee, North Carolina and Virginia Tech. The Gamecocks recently gained Top 150 offensive lineman James Thompson of Sumter, SC., over Clemson, Florida State, North Carolina, Maryland and North Carolina State; and receiver Tremel Kline of Beaufort-Battery Creek, SC.

Robert Ayers, a Top 150 linebacker from Bennettsville-Marlboro County, SC., picked Tennessee over South Carolina and Florida. The Vols recently gained Super Prospect linebacker Jerod Mayo of Hampton-Kecoughtan, Va., over North Carolina State, Purdue, Virginia and Virginia Tech.

Super Prospect defensive lineman Michael Brown of Atlanta-Westlake, Ga., who decommitted from Georgia., and Super Prospect receiver Derrick McPhearson of Hyattsville-DeMatha Catholic, Md., have announced for the Florida Gators over Maryland, Penn State and Virginia Tech. The Gators recently gained Top 150 defensive lineman Derrick Harvey of Greenbelt-Eleanor Roosevelt, Md., over Maryland, Ohio State and Tennessee.

The Florida State Seminoles have Super Prospect defensive lineman Emmanual Dunbar of Deerfield Beach, Fla., over Oklahoma. The Seminoles recently gained Top 150 linebackers Rodney Gallon of Tallahassee-Lincoln, Fla; Jae Thaxton of Hartwell-Hart County, Ga; and Lawrence Timmons of Florence-Wilson, SC.

Colorado has pledges from defensive lineman Remi Ayodele of Grand Prairie-South Grand Prairie, Tex/Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, Okla., over Oklahoma and Oklahoma State; and offensive lineman Daniel Sanders of Oceanside-El Camino, Cal.

Iowa State has pledges from receiver/defensive back Chris Brown of Gainesville, Tex; and defensive lineman Jason McGinty of Fort Worth-Calvary Academy, Tex.

Kansas State added linebacker Aaron Darks of Lufkin, Tex., who decommitted from Arizona; offensive lineman Brad Rooker of Omaha-Millard North, Neb., over Kansas, Wyoming and Iowa State; and defensive lineman Vladimir Faustin of Miami-Pace, Fla.
