Texas lands local offensive lineman

The Texas Longhorns have a Class 2005 commitment from offensive lineman Charlie Tanner of Austin-Anderson, Tex.

Running back Dion Foster of Oak Lawn-Richards, Ill., has committed to the Wisconsin Badgers over Illinois and Purdue.

Three junior college receivers, John Lockett of Hayward, Cal/Chabot CC, Cal; Marque McCray of San Mateo CC, Cal; and Shamus McKoy of Scottsdale CC, Ariz., are expected to be late additions to Nebraska for this upcoming season.

Kentucky has a Class 2005 commitment in offensive lineman Kenny Turner of Cadiz-Trigg County, Kty.
