Michigan State has a reported addition for Class 2004 in defensive lineman Derrick Outlaw of Cassopolis-Ross Beatty, Mich., who played basketball last season for Lake Michigan CC, Mich. He had committed to the Spartans for football as a prep senior.
The Ohio State Buckeyes have a commitment from defensive lineman Todd Denlinger of Troy, Ohio, over Wisconsin, Pittsburgh, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Maryland, West Virginia, Boston College, Northwestern, Duke, Tennessee, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Michigan State, Stanford, among many others. The Buckeyes recently gained defensive lineman Ryan Williams of Mission Viejo, Cal., over offers from Oklahoma, Washington, Oregon and Colorado.
Oklahoma State has pledged linebacker Brady Barree and running back Kevin White, both from DeSoto, Tex. The Cowboys recently gained offensive lineman Jeremy Broadway of Houston-Washington, Tex., over Arizona and Syracuse; defensive lineman Willie Williams of Dearing, Ga/Hutchinson CC, Kan; defensive lineman Josh Pinaire of Derby, Kan/Hutchinson CC, Kan; and receiver Tevin Williams of Stillwater, Okla/Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, Okla.
Nebraska has a commitment from Top 150 quarterback Harrison Beck of Clearwater-Countryside, Fla., over Florida, Michigan, Mississippi and North Carolina State, among many others. The Huskers recently gained linebacker Nick Covey of Glendale-Mountain Ridge, Ariz., over Washington State.
North Carolina has a commitment from running back/linebacker Kennedy Tinsley of Greensboro-Dudley, NC. The Heels recently added Class 2004 running back Vince Wilson of Daytona Beach-Mainland, Fla., for this upcoming season.
The Maryland Terps added four commitments in defensive back Anthony Wiseman of Hyattsville-DeMatha Catholic, Md; running back Morgan Green of White Plains-Lackey, Md; receiver Isaiah Williams of Oradell-Bergen Catholic, NJ; and running back/athlete Brandyn Young of Tucker, Ga.
Virginia Tech has a commitment from defensive back Cameron Martin of Danville-George Washington, Va., over Maryland, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Virginia, Wake Forest and West Virginia. The Hokies recently gained offensive lineman Robert Norris of Hyattsville-DeMatha Catholic, Md., over Syracuse and Maryland; running back Kenny Jefferson of Hyattsville-DeMatha Catholic, Md; and linebacker Demetrius Taylor of Virginia Beach-Kellam, Va.
Duke gained a commitment from linebacker/defensive lineman Kinney Rucker of Durham-Jordan, NC. The Blue Devils recently gained defensive back/running back Glenn Williams of Baltimore-Archbishop Curley, Md; and quarterbacks Joe Cox of Charlotte-Independence, NC., who passed for 3983 yards and 43 touchdowns as a junior; and Gene Delle Donne of Wilmington-Salesianum, Del.
