Bruins add LB while BC adds DL
The UCLA Bruins have pledged Class 2005 linebacker Kaluka Maiava of Wailuku-Baldwin, Hawaii, over Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, Washington and Wisconsin, among others.
Pittsburgh has a Class 2005 commitment from running back Irvan Brown of Central Square-Paul V Moore, N.Y., over Syracuse and Wisconsin. The Panthers recently gained defensive back Domenic Jones of Columbus-Brookhaven, Ohio, over Michigan State, Penn State, Minnesota and Iowa, among others; and defensive back/running back Bryan Williams of Akron-Buchtel, Ohio, over Illinois, North Carolina and Akron.
Boston College pledged Class 2005 defensive lineman Josh Williams of Hampton-Hampton School, NH., over Syracuse and UConn. The Eagles recently gained defensive back/linebacker Paul Anderson of Brooklyn-Poly Prep, NY; and tight end/defensive lineman Jim Ramella of Cleveland-St. Ignatius, Ohio.
Northwestern has pledged Class 2005 linebacker/running back Mike Dinard of Parma-Padua Franciscan, Ohio.
Running back Corey Robertson of Denison, Tex., has put his recent commitment to the Iowa Hawkeyes on hold.
Bowling Green has a Class 2005 commitment from offensive lineman Guy Williamson of Mohomet/Mahomet-Seymour, Ill. The Falcons recently gained receiver Luke Alexander of Springfield-South, Ohio.

Class 2005 tight end/defensive lineman David Harvey of Pomfret-McDonough, Md. The
Huskers recently gained Top 150 offensive lineman Craig Roark of Ada, Okla., over Arizona,
Kansas State, LSU, Missouri and Ohio State, among many others.
Oklahoma State picked up a commitment from Class 2005 defensive back Andre Sexton of Houston-Cy Falls, Tex.
Kansas State has a commitment from receiver/quarterback Zac Robinson of Littleton-Chatfield, Colo.
Tight end/defensive lineman Trent Flander of West Des Moines-Dowling, Iowa, has chosen Iowa State.
Syracuse has a Class 2005
commitment from defensive lineman Cordarrow Thompson of Stafford-North
Stafford, Va., over Marshall.
West Virginia pledged quarterback Nate Sowers of Martinsburg, WVa., who passed for 3258 yds and 48 touchdowns as a junior; and receiver Darren Brownlee of Germantown-Northwest, Md.
