Top 150 defensive back selects Sooners
The Oklahoma Sooners have pledged Top 150 defensive back Keenan Clayton of Sulphur Springs, Tex., over Texas A&M, Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas State, LSU and Oklahoma State, among others.
The Sooners recently gained Top 150 receiver Malcolm Kelly of Longview, Tex., over Kansas State, LSU, Miami-Florida, Texas and Texas Tech, among others; and offensive lineman Ben Barresi of Edmond-North, Okla., over Oklahoma State and Wyoming.
Clemson has a commitment from 320-pound offensive lineman Jamarcus Grant of Mullins, SC., over South Carolina. The Tigers recently gained offensive lineman Thomas Austin of Camden, SC., over Maryland, Vanderbilt, Penn State, South Carolina and Wake Forest.
Oklahoma State has a commitment from running back LaMark Carter of Arlington-Lamar, Tex., over Arkansas and Kansas.
Cincinnati has pledged Class 2005 defensive lineman Tyler Clifford of Portsmouth, Ohio.
Top 150 quarterback Rob Schoenhoft, a Class 2005 prospect from Cincinnati-Xavier, Ohio, is set to announce between Ohio State (expected) and Michigan. Among many others were Florida, LSU, Michigan State and Notre Dame.
Super Prospect quarterback Jonathan Garner of Daytona Beach-Mainland, Fla., is near a decision between Stanford, Florida, Miami-Florida, Mississippi and Memphis.

over Iowa and Wisconsin; plus linebackers Scott Smith of Highland Park, Ill., over

The Iowa Hawkeyes have pledged Class
2005 linebacker B.J. Travers of Westlake, Ohio, over
offers from Southern California, Pittsburgh, Maryland, Kentucky, Syracuse,
Indiana and West Virginia, among many others.
Top 150 offensive lineman Kevin Bemoll of Mission Viejo, Cal., has chosen Ohio State over Florida, LSU and Miami-Florida, among many others. He joins teammate defensive lineman Ryan Williams, who had earlier picked the Buckeyes.
Michigan State pledged linebacker/running back Andrew Hawken of Grandville, Mich., over Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana.
Top 150 defensive lineman Aaron Lewis of Albuquerque-LaCueva, NM.,
has chosen Texas over Florida State. Among
others were Georgia Tech and Texas Tech.
Texas Tech has defensive back LaShawn Vation of Irving-MacArthur, Tex.
Defensive back Ricky Price of Houston-Cy Falls, Tex., is headed to Missouri. Among others were Wisconsin, Houston, Kansas and Colorado State.
