Clemons, who served 60 days in jail for assault and false imprisonment, had his probation transferred from Missouri to North Carolina in January.
Sophomore guard John Winchester of Stamford, Conn., recently transferred from Tennessee to Quinnipiac. He played in 29 games for the Vols last season, starting 13.
San Diego State has signed Class 2004 forwards Chris Lamb of Louisville-Monarch, Colo; and Tim McGrath of Santa Monica, Cal., for this fall.
