High-scoring Jackets guard has strained hamstring

Georgia Tech will be without second-leading scorer B.J. Elder for the first one to three weeks of ACC play, according to an Atlanta Journal-Constitution report. The senior guard strained his left hamstring in Saturday's overtime loss to No. 2 Kansas.

Yellow Jackets coach Paul Hewitt expects Elder back no later than Jan. 22 against Virginia Tech, the newspaper reported.
