Report: Former Kentucky player Legion transferring to Illinois

After a few recruiting losses, chalk up a big victory for the Illinois basketball program. Next season, Illini coach Bruce Weber will be welcoming heralded Kentucky transfer Alex Legion to Champaign, according to a published report. Legion chose Illinois over Notre Dame. "It was a tough situation because they're both great schools, but it came down to relationships," the 6-foot-4, 195-pound Legion told the Chicago Tribune.
