J.T. Thompson to miss season
BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Virginia Tech forward J.T. Thompson will miss this season after tearing the ACL in his left knee during a pickup basketball game.
The school says the senior injured his knee Monday and will have surgery next week. The procedure will be performed Tuesday by Dr. Marc Seigel, the team's orthopedic surgeon.
