Source: Miami contacts Rob Jeter

Miami contacted Wisconsin-Milwaukee coach Rob Jeter about its coaching opening Friday, with a potential face-to-face meeting next week, according to a source with direct knowledge of the situation.

The Hurricanes are seeking to replace Frank Haith, who left after seven seasons to be the coach at Missouri.

Miami officials met with Harvard coach Tommy Amaker in Boston earlier in the week, but Amaker decided to stay in Cambridge.
