Pepperdine falls to No. 10 Gonzaga 78-62

MALIBU, Calif. -- Pepperdine had No. 10 Gonzaga vulnerable at times but it did not have an answer for David Stockton.

The reserve guard -- and son of Naismith Hall of Famer John Stockton -- helped the Bulldogs climb out of a deficit in the first half and provided another boost in the second half of Gonzaga's 78-62 victory in the West Coast Conference opener for both teams Thursday night.
