Will lose when ...
Coppenrath gets no perimeter help, or when more athletic opponents force tempo, taking the score into the 80s.
Famous Last Words
They'll be out-talented all over the court. Just enjoy the way these kids play the game, execute and battle. And Tom Brennan is as good a coach as he is a comedian and radio host.

TO THIS POINT America East champion How They Got Here:
The Catamounts were poised to battle BU for a return trip to the Dance, winning their first 12 conference games before losing to the Terriers in mid-February. Then, news came that Taylor Coppenrath had broken his wrist. With Coppenrath, Vermont lost two more times as the season seemed to be slipping away. But in the postseason, BU was upset in the quarterfinals, opening Vermont's little Patrick Gym's doors for the title game. The stage was suddenly set for Coppenrath's return and Vermont's second trip to the dance after waiting 103 years for its first invitation.
PLAYER TO WATCH Taylor Coppenrath | F | Junior
There wasn't a better story or performance during Championship Week than Coppenrath's return from a broken wrist to not only play, but score a career-high 43 points, in the Catamounts' victory over Maine in the America East title game. The two-time conference player of the year broke his left wrist on Feb. 15, sat out the final five regular season games and Vermont's first two postseason wins. In the title game, he scored 28 first-half points, and eclipsed his 41-point game in January against Northeastern. Coppenrath is a player who can certainly make the Cantamounts a pesky first-round foe.
