TO THIS POINT SEC champions How They Got Here: Tubby has his 'Cats peaking, not to mention, purring at the right time. Then again, UK was among the most solid, if not spectacular teams, all season. Two losses to Georgia, a stumble at Vanderbilt, and a loss back on Dec. 27 to Louisville are the only blemishes. Kentucky doesn't have star power, but it does have plenty of senior leadership and confidence after rolling through the SEC to another title and top seed in the NCAA Tournament. PLAYER TO WATCH Chuck Hayes | F | Junior
It's difficult to choose between the Wildcats talented triumvirate of Gerald Fitch, Erik Daniels and Chuck Hayes. They can all score, pass, rebound and defend. But we'll go with Hayes, who leads the 'Cats in rebounding, blocks and effort. He's also good from the free-throw line and in the clutch.
