With a committee to examine the accomplishments of players and coaches from HBCUs, the Basketball Hall of Fame hopes to recognize those whose contribution to the game transcends wins, losses or stats. It's a nice gesture, but not necessary to validate the achivements of those whom history has largely forgotten, or ignored. Scoop Jackson
