Center sits after on-campus incident

PEORIA, Ill.-- Bradley center Jabbar Battle has been suspended indefinitely for of his involvement in an altercation on campus.

School officials say Battle was suspended due to a violation of
team and university rules.

The altercation occurred last Friday. No other information has
been released. A team spokesman declined to comment on the
suspension.

Battle played in all 30 games for Bradley. He averaged
4.6 points and 3.2 rebounds a game last
season for the Braves.
