LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- New Mexico State sophomore guard Earl Calloway has been suspended indefinitely for breaking a team rule, the school said Friday.

A spokesman for NMSU would not say what Calloway did to warrant the suspension.

Calloway, who is from Atlanta, averaged 2 points a game last season.
