AMHERST, N.Y. -- University at Buffalo swingman Jason Walcott was dismissed Monday by coach Reggie Witherspoon for conduct detrimental to the team.

Also, reserves Parnell Smith and Marcus Henderson were declared academically ineligible for the remainder of the season.

The school did not offer details on the dismissal of Walcott.

He missed the first 12 games this season to concentrate on his studies. He was declared academically ineligible last season, appearing in just five games.
