STORRS, Conn. -- Connecticut star Ben Gordon had surgery Wednesday on his broken nose and was fitted for a special mask.
He missed practice Wednesday, and it's not clear whether he will be available for the Huskies' game against Providence on Saturday.
Gordon broke his nose Jan. 14 when he was hit with an elbow during No. 4 UConn's 94-70 victory over Georgetown.
He is averaging 18 points for the Huskies (15-2, 3-0 Big East) and leads the team with 29 steals.
