BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Forward Fabian Davis and guard Shawn Harris were suspended by Virginia Tech coach Seth Greenberg on Wednesday before the Hokies played Connecticut (No. 8 ESPN/USA Today, No. 6 AP) at Cassell Coliseum.

The school said in a press release that both were suspended indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team. The release also said Greenberg and members of his staff would have no further comment.

Harris, a sophomore, was averaging 7 points in seven appearances and coming off a season-high 15 in the Hokies' 83-76 loss at Seton Hall on Saturday. Davis, also a sophomore, had appeared in 10 games.
