Auburn forward Marco Killingsworth is not heading to the NBA, but he's not returning to the Tigers, either.

Killingsworth has withdraw his name from the draft and has requested and received his release from Auburn, head coach Jeff Lebo said Tuesday.

Killingsworth, who averaged team highs of 13.7 points and 6.9 rebounds last season, will have to sit out one full year, but will be eligible to play for another team during the 2005-06 season. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

It was not clear why Killingsworth chose to leave the Auburn program.

"This decision has nothing to do with the new coaching staff," Killingsworth said. "I appreciate coach Lebo's support."
