HAMMOND, La. -- Billy Kennedy, who coached Southeastern Louisiana to the school's first NCAA Tournament berth, resigned Thursday to become an associate head coach at Miami.
The Lions finished 24-9 last season, losing to Oklahoma State 63-50 in the opening round of the national tournament.
