Hill suspended for breach of team rules
NEW YORK -- St. John's junior guard Daryll Hill was suspended for Wednesday night's game against Stony Brook for an undisclosed violation of team rules.
Hill, who leads the Red Storm (4-1) in scoring at 15.3 points per game, was a preseason all-Big East selection.
He missed the loss to Hofstra last week with a bruised left knee. Hill returned Saturday night against Charleston Southern and had 15 points in a 64-50 victory.
The school said coach Norm Roberts would have no comment on the suspension until after the game with Stony Brook.
