Millsap, La. Tech get past So. Illinois on road
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Paul Millsap scored 25 points on 9-of-14 shooting Saturday to lead Louisiana Tech in a 54-51 win over Southern Illinois.

Millsap also grabbed six rebounds and blocked three shots for the Bulldogs (17-10), who held a 27-25 halftime lead. Chad McKenzie came off the bench to add eight points and eight rebounds in the win.
Randal Falker led the way for Southern Illinois (18-9), scoring 13 points with 11 rebounds.
Jamaal Tatum and Matt Shaw kept the Salukis close, adding 12 points apiece, with Tatum connecting on two 3-pointers. But Southern Illinois lost its opportunity to make a comeback by shooting only 35 percent from the field in the second half.
