JERSEY CITY, N.J. -- Saint Peter's men's basketball coach Bob Leckie retired Tuesday after six seasons with the Peacocks.
The 58-year-old Leckie had a 67-107 record at Saint Peter's after years as a high school coach in New York.
A 1969 Saint Peter's graduate, Leckie was hired in 2000 and took over a team that was 5-23 the year before. The Peacocks won just four games in each of Leckie's second and third seasons before a 10-win season in 2002-2003 and winning records each of the last three seasons.
