Oklahoma State suspends forward for rules violation
STILLWATER, Okla. -- Oklahoma State suspended freshman Gary Flowers indefinitely Wednesday for an unspecified violation of team rules.
The Cowboys signed Flowers, a 6-foot-8 forward, in February out of Lincoln High School in Dallas. He was a high school teammate of Cowboys guard Byron Eaton.
Oklahoma State said in a release that its basketball staff would conduct a full investigation and would not comment on Flowers' situation.
The Cowboys play their first exhibition game Nov. 3 against Pittsburg State. Teams are allowed to begin workouts on Friday.
