RADFORD, Va. -- Byron Samuels will step down as Radford's basketball coach at the end of the season, the school announced Thursday.
In a statement released by the school, Samuels cited personal and professional reasons for stepping down, but he did not elaborate. He said he wanted to make his plans known early to give the school ample time to search for his successor.
Samuels has a 50-65 record in four years as Radford's coach.
