Health concerns force RedHawks' Coles out for rest of year
OXFORD, Ohio -- Miami University basketball coach Charlie Coles will miss the rest of the season to take care of his health.
The 66-year-old coach got sick a week ago and has missed the last two games. He got precautionary medical tests this week.
The university announced Saturday that assistant coach Jermaine Henderson will run the team for the rest of the season. Miami plays its final regular-season game Sunday against Bowling Green, then heads to the Mid-American Conference tournament.
