Rules violations end Cooper's season
RUSTON, La. -- Louisiana Tech forward Kenny Cooper was suspended Tuesday for the remainder of the season for repeatedly violating team rules.
Coach Kerry Rupp said Cooper was not willing to make the commitment necessary to remain with the team. The junior, a transfer from Oklahoma State, averaged 11.7 points and 7.1 rebounds for the Bulldogs this season.
Rupp said Cooper will continue on scholarship for the rest of the year.
