Dambrot's deal renewed through '16
AKRON, Ohio -- The University of Akron says it has approved a two-year contract extension for men's basketball coach Keith Dambrot.
Dambrot's contract was renewed on Wednesday through June 2016. The Board of Trustees also approved a three-year contract extension for women's basketball coach Jodi Kest that runs through 2014.
Dambrot, who also coached LeBron James' high school basketball team, has led the Zips to a 115-51 record in five seasons at Akron.
