PHILADELPHIA -- La Salle men's basketball coach John Giannini has agreed to a new multiyear contract.
Terms of the deal were not released Monday.
Giannini has a record of 83-97 in six seasons with the Explorers. He has a career coaching record of 380-246, including coaching stints at Rowan University and Maine.
Last season, La Salle was 4-12 in the Atlantic 10 and 12-18 overall.
