The Pac-10 has reprimanded California coach Mike Montgomery for comments he made about the officiating during the Feb. 10 game against Washington and Feb. 12 game against Washington State.

Cal lost both games on the road, and Montgomery was called for a technical foul in the Washington State game. He made the comments during a postgame interview on the team's flagship radio station.

"The Pac-10 has specific rules that prohibit our coaches from making public comments about officiating, and this prohibition specifically includes comments that create doubts about the credibility of the Conference's officiating program," Pac-10 commissioner Larry Scott said in a statement Wednesday.
