Kenny Chesney to lead Final Four event
INDIANAPOLIS -- Country music star Kenny Chesney will headline the Final Four's Capital One JamFest in Houston.
The JamFest is part of the Big Dance Concert Series. It is a free, three-day music festival that coincides with the Final Four. It will take place at Discovery Green in Houston's downtown area.
Officials say they will announce the time for Chesney's performance later this month.
Chesney has won four Academy of Country Music entertainer of the year awards, sold more than 30 million albums and has had 21 No. 1 hits.
The series is sponsored by the NCAA's broadcast partners -- CBS and Turner Sports -- and Capital One, the title sponsor for a new award. The Capital One Cup is awarded to the best all-around men's and women's Division I programs.
