Source: Tim Miles gets 3-year extension
Colorado State coach Tim Miles received a three-year contract extension, taking him through the 2016 season, a source with knowledge of the situation told ESPN.com.
Colorado State is expected to make an announcement Thursday.
Miles, who came to CSU from North Dakota State, has steadily increased his win total in Fort Collins over the past four seasons. The Rams went winless in the Mountain West in his first season while winning seven overall. CSU then won four games in the MWC and nine overall in 2009 before jumping to a 16-16 record in 2010, 7-9 in the MWC, and an appearance in the CBI.
The Rams finished 19-13 this past season, 9-7 in the MWC and reached the NIT before losing to Fairfield in the first round.
