Santa Barbara (1-0) at No. 17 Wisconsin (1-0) 8:00 pm EST

MADISON, Wisconsin (Ticker) -- After an impressive opening win, No. 17 Wisconsin hosts Santa Barbara on Tuesday at the Kohl Center.

With star guard Devin Harris departed for the NBA, the Badgers opened the season with a 77-44 rout of Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Just two players scored in double figures, but seven had at least seven points in the win. Mike Wilkinson led the way with 19 points and Brian Butch added 10.

More importantly for coach Bo Ryan, however, was the Badgers' stifling defense. The Quakers turned the ball over 18 times and shot just 32 percent (15-of-47) from the floor.

Ryan hopes to get that effort in Wisconsin's first ever meeting with Santa Barbara.

The Gauchos won their opener in much more dramatic fashion. Playing with just nine healthy players, Santa Barbara survived a buzzer beater to force overtime before posting an 80-72 overtime victory over San Diego State.

Freshman guard Alex Harris scored eight of his 15 points in the extra period, making a pair of 3-pointers.
