    STILLWATER, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- No. 8 Oklahoma State looks to extend the nation's longest home winning streak to 29 games when it faces Texas AM in a Big 12 Conference battle on Wednesday.

    Oklahoma State is in third place in the conference standings, one game behind Kansas and one-half game behind Oklahoma.

    The Cowboys have won the last 10 meetings with Texas AM, including a 66-59 victory on February 19. John Lucas scored 18 points for the Cowboys, while Acie Law led the Aggies with 16.

    Oklahoma State has lost its last two outings, including an 81-79 thriller at Kansas with first place on the line last Sunday.

    Lucas made his first nine shots and finished with 22 points while Joey Graham scored 19 for the Cowboys, who allowed the Jayhawks to shoot 66 percent (31-of-47) from the floor.

    Texas AM has won 11 more games than last season and is in the running for its first NCAA Tournament berth since 1987.

    The Aggies won their third straight game, defeating Texas Tech, 85-63, on Saturday. Antoine Wright scored 29 points and helped Texas AM go on a 19-2 second-half run.

    Wright is averaging more than 27 points and is shooting 68 percent (28-of-41) from the floor and has made 12-of 19 3-pointers during the winning streak.

    The Cowboys lead the series, 24-8, and are 9-1 against Texas AM in Stillwater.
