Oklahoma streaks into February with four straight wins

Texas AM (13-5) at No. 18 Oklahoma (13-4) 8:00 pm EST

NORMAN, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- No. 18 Oklahoma carries a four-game winning streak and the momentum of a stellar victory into Wednesday's Big 12 Conference matchup with Texas AM.

A disappointment early in the season and an 0-2 club to start the league slate, the Sooners have reeled off four straight victories, including three by double digits.

The latest was the most impressive as Oklahoma (13-4, 4-2 Big 12) shot a season-high 54.4 percent (31-of-57) from the floor in Saturday's 82-72 win over then-No. 5 Texas, the league's first place team.

Terrell Everett scored 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting and Taj Gray added 22 on a 9-of-12 effort for the Sooners, who committed just 10 turnovers in winning their third straight over the Longhorns.

Oklahoma's winning streak against Texas AM (13-5, 3-4) is much more impressive, as it has won 13 in a row over the Aggies.

Texas AM broke out of a 1-4 stretch by posting a 72-70 victory over Baylor on Saturday. Joseph Jones scored 29 points and had 10 rebounds as the Aggies snapped a two-game home slide that began with a 45-44 loss to the Sooners on January 14.

In that meeting, Everett hit a 3-pointer with 6.1 seconds left as Oklahoma got its first win in the league.
