Stanford (13-10) at No. 19 Washington (20-5) 10:30 pm EST

SEATTLE (Ticker) -- No. 19 Washington hopes to avenge its most heartbreaking loss of the season Thursday when it meets Stanford in a Pac-10 Conference showdown.

In the first meeting between the teams on January 29, the Huskies held a 63-60 lead on two free throws by Brandon Roy with 2.1 seconds left but freshman Justin Dentmon made a terrible mistake, fouling Stanford's Chris Hernandez on a 3-point attempt.

The senior guard made all three free throws and the Cardinal scored the first five points in overtime en route to a 76-67 victory.

Washington (20-5, 9-5 Pac-10) has rebounded from that loss to win four of its last five games, including a 96-63 rout of Oregon State on Saturday. Roy scored 25 points on 10-of-17 shooting, while Bobby Jones added 12 and nine rebounds for the Huskies, who reached the 20-win plateau for the second straight season.

Stanford (13-10, 9-5) is coming off its third loss in four games - a 76-72 setback to Arizona on Sunday despite 28 points from Hernandez and 15 from Matt Haryasz.

The Cardinal lead the all-time series, 66-57, including wins in 15 of the last 19 meetings. However, the Huskies hold a 41-18 all-time advantage in Seattle.
