South Carolina (18-14) vs No. 14 Florida (26-6) 1:00 pm EST

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Florida is one victory away from winning a second straight Southeastern Conference championship. South Carolina is one win shy of ruining Selection Sunday for another bubble team.

When the teams meet Sunday afternoon, the 14th-ranked Gators will try to avoid dropping a third straight game to South Carolina this season.

The Gamecocks have reached the SEC championship once before, falling to Kentucky in 1998. This season, their magical run has included three straight victories - over Mississippi, Tennessee and Kentucky.

In Saturday's 65-61 win over the Wildcats, Tarence Kinsey scored 18 points and Bryce Sheldon made 4-of-6 3-pointers en route to 12 points. Tre Kelley chipped in 13 points for South Carolina, which can become the second team to win four games in the SEC tournament, joining Arkansas' 2000 squad.

Already a lock to make the NCAA Tournament, Florida will try to improve its seeding and win for the fifth straight time since a three-game skid. In Saturday's 81-65 triumph over Louisiana State, Taurean Green scored 18 points and Joakim Noah added 15 and 12 rebounds as Florida shot a blistering 54 percent.

The Gamecocks won both meetings this season by a total of 10 points as Kinsey averaged 17.5 points in the matchups.
