CINCINNATI (Ticker) -- Tony Bobbitt showed just how excited he was to witness James White's debut with Cincinnati.

Bobbitt scored 15 points and White netted eight as the 16th-ranked Bearcats posted an 89-54 triumph over Middle Tennessee State.

Cincinnati (6-0) built another huge lead by halftime and coasted to its fifth home victory of the season behind Bobbitt, who claimed earlier this week that he was looking forward to Saturday's game. He was not the only one, since the home fans also were anticipating the high-flying White's debut.

White, who transferred from Florida last season, came off the bench and had just one free throw in the first half. The 6-7 forward, playing for the first time since March 2002, missed a pair of 3-point attempts before scoring seven first-half points.

Middle Tennessee State (4-3) dropped to 1-3 on the road. Mike Dean led the Blue Raiders with 21 points.
