WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) -- Kevin Hamilton scored 15 points and Holy Cross used a 19-6 run late in the first half to defeat Brown 69-43 on Sunday.

Jave Meade, John Hurley and Keith Simmons each added 12 points for Holy Cross (4-4), which won its second consecutive game after losing four straight.

Jaime Kilburn had 18 points and 10 rebounds for Brown (2-6), which has lost four straight.

Brown led 13-12 with 8 minutes left in the first half when Hamilton hit consecutive 3-pointers to give the Crusaders the lead. Meade and Hurley keyed a pressing defense as Holy Cross built its lead to 33-22 at halftime.

Holy Cross forced 13 turnovers in the first half and 24 for the game.

Brown cut the lead to 33-26 with a six-point run in the opening minute of the second half. However, Meade, Torey Thomas and Simmons keyed the pressure defense as Holy Cross regained control.

Thomas connected on a 3-pointer, and after Hurley scored on a layup, Simmons also hit a 3, his second of the game. On the next possession, Meade made a steal and scored in transition on a pass from Hamilton, making it 46-31 with 10:52 left.

Brown's Luke Ruscoe hit a 3-pointer to cut the lead to 48-36 with 9:04 left, but the Bears could come no closer.

Hamilton scored six points and Meade had four as Holy Cross expanded the lead to 61-38 with 4:49 remaining.
