Oklahoma State 65, Samford 60


STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Tony Allen scored 19 points and Joey
Graham added 15 to lead Oklahoma State to a 65-50 win over Samford
on Tuesday night.

Oklahoma State (8-1) struggled early against Samford, even
trailing 9-0 to start the game after the Bulldogs (4-6) hit three
consecutive 3-pointers.

But the Cowboys quickly rallied, tying the score at 13 by the
12-minute mark of the first half and going into halftime with a
29-26 lead.

In the second half, Oklahoma State had runs of 12-3 and 13-0 to
turn the game into a rout.

Josh Hare led Samford with 12 points. The Bulldogs scored 30 of
their 50 points from 3-point range.

Oklahoma State easily muscled its way past the outmanned
Bulldogs, outscoring them 44-12 in the paint and shooting 49
percent in the game.

Allen made 8-of-14 field goals, while Graham finished 7-of-9.
