    HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) -- Herb Courtney scored 13 points and hit a layup at the buzzer Saturday night, lifting Delaware to a 63-61 victory against James Madison.

    The Blue Hens (12-7, 6-4 Colonial Athletic Association) four times took the lead in the last 10 minutes after James Madison tied it. The Dukes pulled even for the final time at 61-all on two free throws by Daniel Freemen with 17 seconds remaining.

    Freeman had missed a pair of free throws with 1:51 to play for the Dukes (4-14, 1-9), after Delaware's David Lunn made two with 2:02 to play to make it 61-59.

    Neither team led by more than three in the final 13:21, and James Madison took its only lead in the second half at 52-50 on a layup by Dwayne Boyles with 10:48 left, before a 3-pointer by Chris Prothro gave the Blue Hens the lead 53-52 less than a minute later.

    Courtney also had nine rebounds for Delaware, which had no other player score in double figures. The Blue Hens did outrebounded the Dukes 38-31 and had nine 3-pointers.

    Dwayne Broyles led James Madison with 17 points and eight rebounds.
