Binghamton 75, Hartford 68

VESTAL, N.Y. (AP) -- Brandon Carter scored a career high 27
points, 24 in the second half, to lead Binghamton past visiting
Hartford 75-68 Saturday.

Binghamton (10-11, 6-4 America East) shot 56 percent from the
field in the second half. Carter hit six of seven shots, including
a key three-pointer with 1:49 left that gave the Bearcats a 64-58

Carter sank eight free throws in the final 38 seconds to seal
the win.

Hartford (9-9, 4-5) led by as many as seven in the first half
before Binghamton rallied to tie it 33-33 at halftime.

Binghamton took the lead for good with 9:33 to play on a layup
by Carter.

Alex Adediran had 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists for
