STATESBORO, Ga. (AP) -- Maleye Ndoye had 26 points and Furman
held Georgia Southern to 36 percent shooting to end the Eagles'
13-game winning streak with a 77-72 victory Saturday night.

Tony Carter added 12 and Robby Bostain scored 11 for the
Paladins (12-9, 4-6 Southern Conference).

Fred Bennett had 13 of 22 points in the final three minutes for
Georgia Southern (17-4, 8-2), and he also had 11 rebounds for his

finished only 5-of-19 from the field.

The Eagles raced to a 32-17 lead in the first half and appeared

remainder of the half and Furman rallied to within four at the
break.

A 10-1 run keyed by two jumpers by Carter in the second half
gave the Paladins their first lead at 45-43, and they closed out
the victory by outscoring Georgia Southern 16-4 down the stretch.
