WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) -- David Hehn hit a long 3-pointer at the buzzer to give Vermont a 47-45 win over Hartford Wednesday night in an America East game.

Vermont (17-6, 13-1) trailed by one with 4.7 seconds to play. Corey Sullivan took the inbound pass, pump-faked and dribbled to his right before dishing off to Hehn, whose shot deep from the wing hit nothing but net as time expired.

The Catamounts, who played without leading scorer Taylor Coppenrath (broken wrist), never led in the second half until after Hehn's last-second shot.

Hartford (9-14, 4-10) led by seven points with 3:15 remaining, but was held without a field goal the rest of the way. Ryan Stys missed the front end of a one-and-one before Hehn's final shot.

T.J. Sorrentine scored 23 of Vermont's 47 points and added four assists.

Charles Ford led the Hawks with 14 points, while Aaron Cook added 13 points and a game-high seven rebounds.
