SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) -- Marcus Clark scored 16 points to lead
four double-digit scorers as Stephen F. Austin beat Texas State
72-56 on Friday night.
Stephen F. Austin (19-8, 10-6 Southland) led from the outset and
used a 10-2 run in the final minutes of the first half to take a
31-17 halftime lead.
The Lumberjacks opened the second half by outscoring Texas State
8-2 to lead by 20 points with 17 minutes remaining.
Texas State (13-14, 8-8) went on an 18-4 run later in the half
to cut the lead to 50-41 at the 7:50 mark, but could get no closer.
The Lumberjacks scored 24 points off 13 Texas State turnovers
while the Bobcats scored eight points off eight Stephen F. Austin
