NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Chris Brown scored 19 points and grabbed
10 rebounds as Chattanooga beat Belmont 75-67 Saturday night.
The Mocs (4-2) win follows a 13-day break after beating
Tennessee 69-68 on Dec. 5.
Belmont (2-5) got within 42-41 with 11:39 to play, but a 17-5
run put the Mocs up 59-46 with 6:58 remaining and they never looked
Chattanooga was 23-for-26 from the free throw line in the second
half, outscoring Belmont 28-13 from the line.
The Mocs took the lead for good on an Alphonso Pugh layup at
9:22 in the first half to make the score 22-20.
Chris Brown tied his career-high with 19 points for Chattanooga.
Pugh scored 13 points and Mindaugas Katelynas added 10 before
